Middle Tennesse is the common thread that holds this blog together. As such, I can’t help but recommend another fantastic pop band from Nashville/Murfreesboro. The Nobility (formerly Jetpack UK) released The Mezzanine on July 31st. The album is 35 minutes worth of quick hitting songs accompanied by organs, horns, strings, hand-claps, and melodic harmonies. They certainly call to mind MiS favorites, the Features, with a bit of Sgt. Pepper’s era Beatles thrown in for good measure. In fact, lead singer Sean Williams’ voice bares a striking resemblance to John Lennon on a few songs including the title track.
Move on up…

Just your name under a post means serious hits! Nice work!
These guys definitely have that TN sound that we’ve grown to dig. I don’t know what “Sgt. Pepper’s era Beatles” mean, but maybe I should now look into it. These guys should be opening for your boys on 9/15.
Damn, I just found a nice blog. Maybe I can post?
I hate the logo next to my name. Dave, while you’re D-E-S-I-G-N-I-N-G, please kill it. I can’t figure out how. The site rocks.
