DeVotchKa Play Twist & Shout

After standing outside an hour in the blustery cold of a March early evening in Denver, DeVotchKa let us in to the warmth of their new album.   Pulling mostly from A Mad & Faithful Telling (released today), the performance to its hometown fans at Twist & Shout–the best record store in the country–was pretty special.  Even if you’re not aware, you’ve likely heard several songs by DeVotchKa. Enjoy some very close pictures (sadly, I only had my phone camera, and it’s not like Brian’s)!  Note the 3/4 empty wine bottle…
