A couple of the best posts you’ve ever written are on the subject of Local H. Perhaps it took the new album (and the 7-day residency) for you consider them among your number one spot of all time (lofty thoughts, I realize). Regardless, nothing beats nostalgia and familiarity with a certain group. Kot’s article does a fine job tying it all together.
He’s never seen them live.
i stumbled upon this looking for a certain pic of Scott & Brian online. having seen these 2 perform live at least 20+ times, they never cease to amaze me! i just saw them again last night (over 2 1/2 hours to get there one way) & what an amazing show! i’ve seen them everywhere from venues in Detroit & the surrounding suburbs, all the way to Chicago & even Kentucky! i own every album Local H has made & have bought them all 2-3 each due to wearing them out & trashing them because they go everywhere w/ me. on May 13, 2008, it took me over 4 hours of hunting from one store to another to find 12 Angry Months and it was so worth it! just when you think they’ve reached the absolute pinnacle of awesomeness, they kick it up another notch! they deserve so much more recognition for their amazing talent! keep on rockin’, Scott & Brian! love you guys! can’t wait to see what’s NEXT!
