The sugary house duo, who are working on their 15th year together, are adding yet another staple for summer 2009. Or maybe a summer anthem? “Raindrops”, off of the forthcoming Scars, is Basement Jaxx busy – a mixture of the sitar with a tribal bounce; back and forth bleep blops; candy coated vocals rising and falling; and an overall liveliness that only Basement Jaxx can provide.
